Things to entertain your Children

The Gower Peninsula is a brilliant location for a traditional seaside holiday with buckets and spades, and kids love it!  The beach may be more of an adventure for them at Rhossili with a ship wreck and an island to visit, or go and explore Culver Hole Wall at Port Eynon.  But if none of these ideas appeal to your children, or your have already done them, then here are some suggestions:

Gower Heritage Centre - Parkmill - this is a rural life museum which is based around a 12th century watermill.  There are the essential facilities like parking, toilets and refreshments, some shops and crafts, blacksmithing demonstrations and a cider press. We had a very nice fried breakfast there a couple of years back and it fuelled us for a walk to the Three Cliffs Bay through the salt marsh, made especially memorable by one of our dogs rolling in cow poo on the way.
